Dead Space Team Giving Away 100 SciFi DVDs

Electronic Arts Dead Space is a sci-fi first-person shooter where mankind meets aliens from another world, and survival becomes as much about mastering fear in the darkness as it does about eliminating the threat and the development team has done their research, watching dozens of horror and science fiction films.

“Now they want to pass their collection on to you! All you have to do is register for the Dead Space Newsletter for a chance to win 100 DVDs.”

So says the press release, but it’s no exageration to say that these are DVDs any self-respecting geek would want in their collection. We’re talking 12 Monkeys, 2001, the Battlestar Galactica mini-series, The Terminator and They Live amongst others of the sci-fi side of things. For horror fans the collection includes Hitchcock’s The Birds, Poltergeist, The Ring and more.
