Orthopedic Horseshoes Interview with James Alan Gardner

Okay how often do you get to write a title like that? Herb Kauderer, one of the hosts of the internet talk show Orthopedic Horseshoes let me know that the August 2008 episode “Growing Up as Part of Losing Your Originality” is now up.

The show features an interview with James Alan Gardner, science fiction writer and two-time Aurora Award winner as well as Hugo and Nebula nominee.

During the interview the discussion ranges from multiple intelligences, kinesthetic learning, brain function and brain tech, the forbes richest list, Wayne Gretzky all the way to lining up for a religious experience.

What exactly do all these things have to do with each other? Well I guess you’ll just have to listen to find out.

And while you’re over there you may want to check out the July 2008 episode “The Devil is in the Details” which features a discussion with Stoker Award winner and horror writer Edo van Belkom. That particular discussion covers diverse subjects like: people who are full of themselves, what a writer looks like, a tradition of pornography, social skills and fan conventions and feeling like Jesus.
